Optimized Cross Training. A couple of seasoned veterans in the fitness equipment industry have branched out with their own company, and their only product line is the elliptical cross trainer. The Octane Q35e is the top model, but the “new company” philosophy is the real advantage behind it. With ellipticals, the real test is the feel of the motion during use, and Octane has used computer simulation and prototype testing to perfect this smooth motion. They call it Body-Mapping Ergonomics–and it is innovative. For instance, the Octane Q35e has the closest spacing between the pedals in the industry (2 inches), and that produces the most natural walking or running stride. Other ergonomics are oversized pedals, low step-up height and low pivot-point handlebars. With this, the top model, added features are HeartLogic Intelligence with a wireless heart monitor and the NowZone program that holds the heart rate steady. It also offers two customizable programs and an X-Mode with the GluteKicker program to target muscles in that area of the body. Octane may be new, but there also one of the Best Buys in the market.

Octane Q35e is an upgraded version of Q35. Most of the qualities and features of this two elliptical trainers are the same, so we’ll just mention the features that differentiate Q35e from it’s predecessor.

The biggest change is that Octane Q35e with Enhanced Electronics has wireless heart rate monitor and heart rate programs which you can use to target different heart rate zones. Apart from that, you also have some extra options, combining heart rate monitoring and resistance alterations.

The original Octane Fitness elliptical, this proven winner is backed by multiple awards and testimonials. Recognized as an innovative, high performance cross trainer, the Q35e was the first to incorporate Body-Mapping Ergonomics and the QuadLink drive for a natural, smooth, total-body motion.

With the closest pedal spacing in the industry at 1.8 inch, your comfort is ensured since the hips do not have to shift laterally and tax the lower back.

Plus, the Q35e with enhanced electronics offers a wealth of superior features at unbeatable value. Among them are the popular X-Mode workout and several preset resistance routines, such as effective interval training.

Stationary handlebars, a convenient accessory tray and a handy reading rack further enhance convenience.
